Vermeer. The Golden Century of Dutch Art

A series of four encounters designed to explore the intimate and silent nature of this great 17th century painter's art. The event, masterminded by Art Workshop Director Paola Vassalli, is scheduled to commence on Friday 19 October and will be conducted by art historian Anna Maria Panzera.

And off we go with the third spot! event, a date for the guided interpretation of a work of art. On the occasion of the exhibition "Caravaggio", four encounters to retrace the vicissitudes of the Milanese painter: from his first attempts in the workshop of Simone Peterzano, through the influences of Lombardy culture and on to the Roman period, when the stylistic features of an artist who loved "to paint naturally" were defined. Then the Neapolitan period when he reinforced his style also in relation to the autobiographical element that would be a feature throughout his work.
