Da Giotto a Malevic. La reciproca Meraviglia
Beyond the traditional guided visits and the animated visits in the exhibition’s rooms, it is possible to visit a workshop exhibition, The mortar and pestle of the Bába Jagá: curated by the Cultural Cooperative Giannino Stoppani, which presents the stories of Afanás’ev and Púskin, the atmospheres of Turgénev and the figures of Nikúlin and Bilíbin, to accompany the children on the discovery of a culture full of images, fables, stories. The Russian culture can be discovered in the library of Bába Jagá, positioned in the corner of the house. For the occasion of the exhibition, the newspaper The Green Lamp was created to allow us to find a way out of the witch’s house and enter the pages of the magazine that takes the name of the political-cultural society to which Púskin belonged. On the last day of the exhibition, it is possible to participate in the workshop with the artist.: a new, personal and irreverent meeting with the art of the past. The event is conducted by the Russian artist Vladímir Radunsky, who lives in Rome, and takes its cue from his illustrated book The Mighty Asparagus, a homage to the iconography of the Italian Renaissance, in the playful and parodistic style typical of the Russian culture.
